CREATOR GUIDELINES

Creator Guidelines

Shoot Junction provides managed creative services to businesses and individuals. We clarify client requirements, prepare proposals, select suitable creators and manage projects through final delivery.

Professional Standards

By joining the Shoot Junction creator network, you agree to follow these operational and professional guidelines. They apply to photographers, filmmakers, editors, designers, animators, AI creators and other creative specialists.

01

Accurate Profile Information

Creators must provide truthful and current information, including:

  • Professional experience and specialisations.
  • Portfolio samples and their contribution to each project.
  • Relevant equipment, software and production resources.
  • Location, availability and rates.
  • Contact and payment information.

Keep Shoot Junction informed of changes that could affect assignment suitability.

Misrepresentation of work, experience, skills or resources may lead to suspension or removal from the network.

02

Portfolio Authenticity

Submit only work you created or significantly contributed to.

Clearly identify:

  • Your role in collaborative projects.
  • AI generated or AI assisted elements.
  • Conceptual or personal work.
  • Any restrictions on displaying or sharing the work.

Obtain written approval from Shoot Junction before publishing material from a Shoot Junction assignment, including portfolio samples and behind-the-scenes content. Approval is subject to client permissions, confidentiality and agreed usage rights.

03

Project Assignment and Availability

Shoot Junction identifies and selects creators internally based on the project's requirements.

When you are suitable for an assignment, our team will contact you to discuss the brief, availability, rates and execution requirements.

Before accepting, confirm that:

  • You understand the scope and deliverables.
  • You have the required skills and resources.
  • You are available for the agreed schedule.
  • You can meet the expected quality standards.
  • You accept the confirmed commercial terms.

Creators do not independently apply for listed projects. Registration does not guarantee assignments or a minimum volume of work.

Do not substitute another creator or subcontract your assignment without Shoot Junction's prior approval.

04

Communication and Client Coordination

Shoot Junction manages the client relationship, commercial discussions, scope approvals and overall project coordination.

Creators must:

  • Respond promptly within the timings agreed for the assignment.
  • Communicate respectfully with clients and team members.
  • Provide progress updates to the Shoot Junction project lead.
  • Raise delays, missing inputs or other problems as soon as they arise.
  • Refer requests for additional work or scope changes to Shoot Junction.

Direct client communication may be necessary for execution. Follow the coordination arrangements agreed with your project lead.

Do not independently change prices, deadlines or deliverables, or make commitments on Shoot Junction's behalf.

Harassment, abusive language or unprofessional conduct may result in disciplinary action.

05

Confidentiality and Project Information

Treat client briefs, pricing, business information, creative concepts, personal information and unpublished assets as confidential.

Use this information only for the assigned work. Share it only with authorised people who need it for the project.

Do not upload confidential material or personal information to unapproved software, AI tools or public services.

Protect project files and report any loss, unauthorised access or accidental disclosure to Shoot Junction immediately.

Confidentiality obligations continue after the assignment, as specified in the applicable agreement.

06

Rates and Payment Process

Creators agree their fees and payment terms with Shoot Junction before accepting an assignment.

Clearly state what your fee includes and identify any proposed additional expenses. Obtain approval before incurring costs outside the agreed scope.

Shoot Junction determines the final client price, contracts with the client and receives client payments. Shoot Junction pays creators according to their agreed engagement terms.

Creators must not:

  • Request or accept direct payment from the client.
  • Negotiate separate commercial terms with the client.
  • Offer direct pricing to bypass Shoot Junction.
  • Divert additional or repeat work away from Shoot Junction.

Any payment question or dispute must be raised with Shoot Junction.

07

Project Execution and Delivery

Shoot Junction remains responsible to the client for managing the project and final delivery. Each creator remains responsible to Shoot Junction for completing their assigned work to the agreed standard.

Creators must:

  • Follow the approved brief and project instructions.
  • Prepare the equipment, software and resources needed for their role.
  • Meet agreed deadlines and review stages.
  • Check their work before submitting it.
  • Complete corrections and revisions included in their assignment.
  • Provide organised files and clear handovers to other specialists.
  • Back up material and follow agreed storage instructions.

Submit work through Shoot Junction's review process. Send files directly to the client only when authorised.

If feedback changes the approved scope, inform your project lead before proceeding.

Where work falls below the agreed requirements, Shoot Junction may require corrections, arrange additional support or reassign work in accordance with the applicable engagement terms.

08

Intellectual Property and Usage Rights

Creators must ensure that their work:

  • Uses original or appropriately licensed material.
  • Does not infringe third-party rights.
  • Meets agreed requirements for music, fonts, stock assets and other licences.
  • Identifies any restrictions affecting the client's intended use.

Agree the use of AI tools with Shoot Junction before incorporating them into an assignment.

Ownership, licensing, attribution and transfer of rights follow the written creator agreement and project terms. Creators must provide the rights and permissions needed for Shoot Junction to fulfil its agreement with the client.

Do not reuse or publish client material without the required written approval.

09

Workshops and Skill Development

Shoot Junction may organise workshops, training sessions and professional discussions for creators.

Participation is optional unless preparation or training is specifically agreed for an assignment.

Participation does not guarantee project allocation.

10

Three-Strike Policy

Shoot Junction follows a three-strike process for breaches of these guidelines or agreed professional standards.

  • Strike 1: Written warning explaining the issue and required improvement.
  • Strike 2: Temporary suspension from new assignments for a stated period.
  • Strike 3: Removal from the creator network.

Serious violations may result in more than one strike or immediate suspension or removal, depending on their nature and impact.

Shoot Junction will communicate the action and its reason to the creator. Contractual consequences follow the applicable engagement agreement.

11

Client Relationships and Anti-Circumvention

Shoot Junction manages clients and project opportunities introduced through its business.

For 12 months from the date Shoot Junction introduces you to a client, you must not solicit, accept or undertake direct commercial work with that client outside Shoot Junction without its prior written approval.

Refer repeat enquiries, additional requirements and new project requests from these clients to Shoot Junction.

If you already have a commercial relationship with a proposed client, disclose it before accepting the assignment so that Shoot Junction can confirm the arrangements in writing.

The detailed scope and application of this restriction are governed by the signed creator agreement.

12

Commitment to the Creative Community

Shoot Junction aims to build a reliable network of creative professionals across India.

Creators are expected to:

  • Respect fellow specialists and their contributions.
  • Work constructively within the assigned team.
  • Honour commitments and communicate honestly.
  • Respect client premises, participants and applicable safety requirements.
  • Raise concerns through the Shoot Junction project lead.

These guidelines explain our working process. The signed creator agreement and project-specific engagement terms govern detailed scope, payment arrangements and contractual obligations.
